Not sure why this spot got all the bad reviews but in my humble opinion, it's a legit pho spot for the Murrieta area. Being from San Diego I am fortunate to have all the best places nearby in City Heights so I am generally pretty picky when it comes to food, especially pho. The go to spot up here is Pho Ha in Temecula but they were closed today so props to Pho Tho for being open on Independence Day!

The restaurant was nice, clean, and spacious. Friendly staff and decent service. I got the B1, which is basically the Pho Dac Biet and it was on point. Although the price can be considered expensive, my friends and I were all pleasantly surprised by how good the pho was. We had very low expectations and just needed pho after a night of drinking so Pho Tho hit the spot! I definitely recommend this spot and would come back if I'm ever in the area!

    Peace!

Maybe I have a different perspective than others, but coming from the Vietnamese experience in Philadelphia, I found Pho Tho to be first rate. It was the cleanest pho shop I've seen, with metal tables and chairs well spaced around the two dining rooms, and a simple menu of pho, com and banh mi choices.

It was ideal for a light dinner. We split a regular bowl of pho ga (chicken noodle) and BBQ pork banh mi. Both were excellent. The soup broth was clear and spicy and took the Thai basil, sprouts and lime squeeze well. The chicken was thick sliced, plentiful and tender. A shot of Sriracha brought the slurp to a cool burn.

The sandwich came wrapped in white paper and green rubber band. When opened the copious shredded red amber pork was stuffed in a crisp crusty demi baguette with lettuce, diakon, cucumber and mayo. Loved every bite.

Prices were about the same as at the East end of the rainbow.

I really don't understand why this place had such bad ratings from my fellow Yelpers. Having moved back to Murrieta, I sought out a new Pho place near my home. I came across this place and decided to give it a go.
Let me tell you, this place really rocks. It's probably the cleanest Pho joint that I've ever been in.
So, you're probably wondering if I'm so stoked about this place, why only 4 stars instead of 5??
Price. The regular bowl of Pho costs $8.95 as of 5-31-2019. In my opinion, they are overpriced by about $2. I think that this place would bring a lot more customers if they lowered their price.

Exceptional customer service! Super friendly and helpful. Specifically Khann! Food was delicious  I will definitely come back now that I have an official Pho spot

Haven't been here in almost 5 years. Last I checked, they  had closed down. I'm assuming it under new ownership, because it has expanded and improved. They now have new booths, flooring, tables & a tv that plays vietnamese pop videos lol. The place before looked very run down so I'm glad they have made some improvements!

I ordered pho & spring rolls. Both of them lack flavor or salt... I found myself adding so much sauce to my pho for some kind of flavor. (Yes, I know that's not the right way to eat it but it tasted so bland.) The spring rolls were very chewy and small and lacked any kind of flavor. I have also never in my life paid for $10 pho before, but I get it it's not SD where you can get $6 pho that's amazing and flavorful.

I was served very fast, but not sure what was up with the girl server. Not sure if she speaks to the people she serves...

Overall, I give this place 3 stars.  Not sure if I'll return!
